YFX (CJ) Series Electric Hydraulic Wind-Resistant Iron Wedge Brake
Category:
Anti-Wind Brakes
Detailed introduction
● Uses and Key Features
Primarily used as a wind-resistant braking system for various rail-mounted cranes—such as gantry cranes, portal cranes, and loading/unloading bridges—when they are in operation at ports, terminals, railways, and other outdoor work sites. It can also be employed, in conjunction with anchoring devices and wind-resistant stay cables, as a safety measure to prevent crane movement during non-operational periods.
Compact in structure, elegant in design.
Matching Ed actuators offer excellent operational performance, reliable sealing, and an IP65-rated enclosure for superior protection.
The friction blocks are made from advanced, highly wear-resistant steel, ensuring reliable performance.
The main swinging arms are all equipped with self-lubricating bearings, ensuring high transmission efficiency, quick and responsive operation, reliable performance, and an extended service life.
Manually released, easy to maintain.
Equipped with a limit switch to indicate the operating status.
● Terms of Use
Ambient temperature: -20℃ to +50℃.
Typically used with three-phase AC power supplies: 380V, 50Hz.
The altitude of the installation location complies with the relevant provisions of GB755-2008.
Technical specifications: Wind-resistant capacity of a single windproof iron wedge brake (converted into a horizontal force F).
F = f × N Wheel (N rounds represent wheel pressure; f is the coefficient of friction = 0.46.) The total number of units to be installed, S, is calculated as S = 2.5PW/F, where PW is the wind =CKh Q&A) Refer to the crane design specifications.
