Detailed introduction

● Uses and Key Features

The KPZ-type belt conveyor disc brake system is primarily designed for use in underground coal mines, as well as outdoor coal mines and coal preparation facilities where explosion-proof requirements apply. It is also suitable for controlled braking and stopping of large-scale electromechanical equipment, and can be effectively utilized in various applications involving the starting and stopping of such machinery. Notably, the brake system features a normally closed design.

● Key Features

When coordinated with the electronic control system, it ensures that the deceleration of large-scale electromechanical equipment during shutdown remains within the range of 0.05 to 0.03 m/s².

When the system suddenly loses power, it can still ensure that large-scale mechanical and electrical equipment slows down and stops smoothly.

Its structure is of the normally closed type, ensuring reliable parking performance.

The hydraulic control system features a dual-loop structure, with one loop in use and the other as a backup, ensuring high operational reliability.

The ambient temperature is below 40°C, with braking performed 10 times per hour. The maximum disc surface temperature does not exceed 150°C, and no sparks are generated.
